The primary is over in Delaware. So….I put the question to you, what have we learned from this charade? Well, I don’t know about you, but this is what I got out of it; politicians (more specifically; incumbent politicians) are about as trustworthy as an Arab Jihadist wearing a suicide vest bomb in a crowded market full of elderly Jewish people and little children. He will almost certainly push the button and KABOOM! Off to his virgins in the land of paradise and it’s business as usual for the Holy War! So it goes for politics, business as usual.

What I have been trying to figure out though, is just exactly where do all of the players in this game of shenanigans actually stand? I was naively under the assumption that the Republicans would back the winner of a primary, for that matter they would back potential candidates as well. Not so, it seems. Watching this election in Delaware, it makes one wonder just who is backing whom and what agenda do they all really represent?

There was a time not long ago, when the Democrats were not really the bad guy. My parents being from the south were Democrats forever it seems, but the roles have changed drastically. For what ever reason, the Dems are now aligned with a radical bunch from the far left and the Republicans, who used to be a Conservative party are now in the same position that the Dems used to occupy. They have forgotten their Conservative base. This then is the crux of the problem. Their Conservative base is still a Conservative base. We haven’t changed our values, they have changed theirs.

In my opinion, there is not one iota of difference between Republicans and Democrats. They all spew out the most vile rhetoric that I have ever had the displeasure of listening to. They do not represent me or my views and PBO is lost somewhere in Karl Marx land. Scary stuff.

Average American citizens, who are now fed up to the top of their necks with the lies and spending frenzies by our duly elected public servants and for the first time in most of their lives, they are actually standing up to this and saying NO! They are now the most misunderstood and often misquoted, most maligned, chastised and cursed at bunch of violent renegade activist’s that ever walked the face of the political arena. How dare they even be allowed to participate in the election process. What gives this bunch of hooligans the right to interfere with the age-old process of electing an official into office? They are clearly all too dumb to understand what is at stake here. Right?

Mike Castle a ninth term incumbent in the US House. One of the ruling class elites, has been dethroned by a commoner; Christine O’Donnell! Backed by those repulsive “TEA PARTIERS” and that indignant Sarah Palin and criticized by politicians and pundits from both sides of the fence, she now faces an election that will ultimately prove the average American’s disdain for POLITICS AS USUAL.

When the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) announced that the GOP’s fundraisers, would not support the Tea Party’s favorite candidate in the upcoming November 2^nd election, I just about popped my cork. Although they backed off of their original statement, it was too late for me. They let the cat out of the bag, they showed us their hand. Just where is their allegiance? The same old tired policies and the same old worn out bureaucrats.

It looks like they would get the message. America is in the middle of an up-rising of sorts. We are fed up with failed policies and politicians that believe they know better than us. Passing sweeping legislation against the will of mainstream America, is a precedent that not long ago would have been unheard of in our Government.

In their zeal for total control of the American way of life, they left one tiny detail out of their agenda. US!

In November, all of the incumbents, Republican or Democrat will be reminded just who signs their checks once again. Apparently they need a reminder. Do your civic and patriotic duty, VOTE! Show them that defy the peoples will, the door. Show them just who the “TEA PARTY” really is!

~ Then and now ~

I was having a discussion with my wife today about attitudes in this country, circa 1941 VS 2010. Today being the 9^th anniversary of the destruction of the World Trade Centers in New York and the attack on the Pentagon. Our world was turned upside down on that fateful day, life would never be the same as we knew it. I remember where I was then, at first just another insignificant day, but the end result was a different outlook on life and my country, at least for me personally.

Not knowing what had happened before my very eyes, showed me how little I was paying attention to the world around me. I had been tuning out the news and focusing mostly on my little world. What a safe little place I used to live in, or so I thought. I suppose many of us had the same out look and it took an event like that to wake us up. Regretfully, I believe that many have gone back to that very mindset. Life goes on around you and as long as nothing directly confronts you, then all is well. How easily we forget the past.

~ Sunday December 7, 1941 ~

World War II, began officially on September 1, 1939, when Germany attacked Poland. Germany then crushed six countries in three months; Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, and France. Afterward, it conquered Greece and Yugoslavia. America remained neutral.

The Empire of Japan’s plans for expansion in the Far East led it to attack the US Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor on Sunday, December 7, 1941. Which formally brought the United States into the war. By 1942, all of the major countries of the world were involved in one the most terrible wars in history.

I remember the conversation that I had with my mothers best friend Melba, shortly before she passed away two years ago. “Your mother and I were together when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. We made a promise to each other that day. No matter where we were, we would contact each other every year on that day, from then on.” I never knew that. They too felt the same emotions that we did on 9-11, the day that “Pearl Harbor” became a day of “infamy”.

America’s men and women rallied around the flag and launched a nation wide call to arms to bring about retribution from those that attacked us without provocation. A monumental effort was made with the full consent of Congress, to do what ever was necessary to bring those responsible either to justice or to their knees. The offending countries were in essence, reduced to rubble. The will to ever want to wage war on humanity again was taken out of them. They were forced to pay the ultimate price for their transgressions and the world was now a much safer place.

2388 Americans both military and civilians, were killed early that morning in 1941 and the final tally of those who lost their lives as a result of that war may never be known, but it is estimated at about 55 million world-wide.

~The aftermath ~

After the end of WWII, America saw a time of prosperity. The troops came back home, business was booming again, the economy was gaining ground and people were back to work again. There was a sense of pride and accomplishment that permeated the nation. America’s wounds were beginning to heal. Manufacturing had developed into a well oiled machine, there was nothing that we as a united nation could not do and we proved that during the war. The world watched as we became the most prosperous country on the planet. The standard of living here, jumped by leaps and bounds. The American dream was now a reality.

American ingenuity and a cannot fail attitude, led the way during the war and rebuilt a nation on the brink of financial decay only a few years past. It was attitude that ultimately made the difference. Not defeatism or apathy, but rather the willingness to work hard and sacrifice, that made the difference. An American trait that was characteristic of our people. It took a tragedy to unite and bring us back from the precipice.

~ Tuesday September 11, 2001 ~

At 8:45 that morning, 19 Islamic terrorists, hijacked 4 commercial airliners with 247 passengers on board. Two of the planes were crashed into the Twin Towers, one into the Pentagon, The other; flight 93, never made it to its target, which was presumed to be the US Capitol in Washington DC and crashed near Shanksville Pennsylvania, after the passengers in a valiant effort tried to retake the plane.

There were 3372 people killed in the attacks on September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center including those on Flight 93. 125 military personnel and civilians were killed at the Pentagon. A total of 3,497 Americans were killed that day.

Do you remember the shock that you felt first, then the sadness for the loss of life with those images of people jumping from the top of the towers rather than being burned alive? I shall never forget it. I was numb. What if that was one of my family members there or what if I was in that building that day? What about the responders who gave up their lives so that others may have survived? What about their families? The pain. The anguish. The tears.

Eight months in, what a way to start off your Presidency. George W. Bush, then President of this nation did, exactly what every American was thinking on that tragic day. He went after the criminals behind this. The economy of America started to crumble then, just as surely as the Towers did. I am not sure that it ever recovered. The War on Terror began that day. We went into Afghanistan after the Taliban who claimed responsibility and later into Iraq. The rest will be left up to the history books.

~ The aftermath ~

Americans for the first time in a very long time banded together, put away their differences and became united with a common cause of patriotism and retribution. This was the best that I have ever personally witnessed us as a nation of mixed ethnicity. It was amazing.

Our economy was finally starting to come back together and life was getting back to normal somewhat. But things were different. We had faced an enemy on our own land for the first time in many years. Was this the last of it? Our Military had been asked to move into harms way once again, but all of the rules were changed. Our troops found themselves immersed in a quagmire, that was being micro-managed by non-military people. The Congress. The full-scale effort that was behind the defeat handed to our enemies in WWII, was once again not present in this war. Like Korea and Vietnam, if you are not ready to commit to the war 100 percent, then you are bound to fail.

The attitude of American people has changed over the years. No longer a cannot fail attitude, but rather one of apathy and tolerance. Make no mistake, we were attacked on that day by a cowardly enemy as we were on that day in 1941, but things are different now.

The willingness to pull together and sacrifice for the good of the nation is not as prevalent as it was then. We watched on the inter-net, the caskets of our fallen draped in US Flags being delivered home by Military Planes and we were outraged that our sons and daughters were dying as a result of this war. Incidents that are common in wartime conditions were taken apart by every liberal do-gooder in the country and used as fuel for the fire against this war and the Bush administration.

~ Nine years later ~

The Obama administration came on the scene promising to end all of the frustration that our countrymen were expressing over this war. A war that we did not start. A war that began with a cowardly attack in New York by an un-seen enemy. An enemy with the stated purpose of killing Americans and raising the Islamic flag over the White House in our generation. An enemy that seeks world-wide conquest, as much as Germany, Japan and Italy did. An enemy that does not distinguish between civilians and military as targets, who will willingly kill women and children to further their cause. An enemy with no regard for human life what so ever.

Because of an attitude of tolerance, this administration is willing to back a proposed Islamic Mosque on the every site that all of this began. The very enemy of our people want to build a Mosque on the most hallowed ground on American soil other than the site of the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor. Given the differences in attitude between then and now. What do you suppose would have happened, had there have been a proposal by the Japanese, to erect a memorial to Japanese forces at the site that they attacked in 1941? There would have been a resounding cry from every house in America all the way to the Capitol and the President screaming at the top of their lungs: not just no, but HELL NO!

~ Hope and change ~

The very things that are destroying this nation are welcomed with open arms by a generation that knows nothing of sacrifice and hard work. They laugh at the previous generations that bled for this country and think that tolerance is a promise of safety and prosperity. They have no idea what is at stake. The freedoms and liberty paid for in blood by their ancestors are all but forgotten. They do not know of hardship or of honor.

Obama’s ideology, that big business and banks are the enemy and that the wealth of this nation should be re-distributed to those who do not contribute is a course that can only lead to disaster and ruin. His willingness to engage the very enemies of this nation with appeasement instead of strength are a danger to national security. His willingness to strip the military and our defenses down to nothing are insane in this world of tyrants. Hope and change, a fatalistic approach to the destruction of this great country at the hands of a tolerant generation who are willing to allow this to happen.

So what do we do when a paint job, becomes a necessity? Well, you call in the Pro’s from Dover. (That is one of my favorite lines, from the original movie; MASH. I stole it and am very fond of it and I use it a lot, thank you very much!) Or for a better choice of words; you call in a paint contractor. Now I know what you are thinking. This is a conservative, political forum. What could house painting and paint contractors, possibly have to do with politics? Simple. The Ubiquitous EPA. The Environmental Protection Agency. These guys have been very busy as of late, passing a multitude of rules and regulations that you may not even be aware of.

Well…anyways, back to the painting contractor that I bumped into. He was very involved with a job, painting the interior of a friends home. It is a large house with very high ceilings and the homeowners were just not capable of doing the work themselves and hired it out. This guy has been doing this type of work for many years. He is a small business man. He had a couple of helpers and things were going okay for him in-spite of this recession, or depression, depending on your version of the definition. Enter the EPA.

“There is a new EPA Rule. Beginning in April 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects for compensation that disturb lead based paint in homes, child care facilities and schools built prior to 1978 MUST have a lead paint certification from the EPA. They must also follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination. Those affected by this new rule will be contractors, sub-contractors, maintenance workers, painters and other specialty tradesmen who disturb painted surfaces during work.

The rule states that all contractors and firms who perform painting work or are labeled as painters and who disturb lead based paint as part of their work in pre-1978 built homes, schools and other buildings must be EPA Certified.

Of course this is an EPA regulation. It does NOT matter what state or United States territory you perform this work in, you will still need this EPA Certification.

The rule is written and enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency, a branch of the Federal Government.”

This is the good part: “There are a lot of EPA regulations and fines for non-compliance. We are specifically targeting the new rule that was passed as of April 22, 2010. It carries fines of $32,500 for non compliance.“

Cool hunh? So he weathered the recession only to come up against new regulations for a small business in an already tight market. What the heck, it’s only money right? So now, by federal law he has to acquire a lead paint certification for himself and his crew, at his own expense.

Who will have to comply?

“Not only does the rule affect general contractors, but it also applies to any specialty contractor that in the course of their work may disturb a surface that could have lead-based paint. This would include plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, finish carpentry, drywall, insulation, siding, tile, glass and glazing, as well as others. (It would be advisable for general contractors to verify compliance by their subcontractors by obtaining a copy of their certification.)”

What is the contractor required to do?

“The rule requires that anyone doing renovation on targeted facilities obtain certification that evidences they are trained in the use of lead safe work practices and that they will follow specific work practices when performing the renovation. What this means to you is: (a) your company must receive certification, (b) a certified renovator must be assigned to each renovation of a covered facility; (c) all persons performing work on the project must receive on-the-job training by a certified renovator; (d) all renovations must be performed in accordance with the EPA work practice standards related to lead-based paint; (e) you must provide the owner and occupants of the property with an EPA pamphlet advising them of the lead hazards associated with renovation and obtain a signed certificate of receipt; and (f) you must keep records of compliance on all projects.”

The rules and regulations for this boondoggle are something akin to the new Obama-Care legislation that was just shoved down, I mean dutifully passed by our very wise legislators. Several thousand pages of incoherent dribble that only, the federal government could conceive. Try reading it. Just when PBO called off the recession and said that it was safe to go back into the water, here comes another stifling new regulation, that will not only kill more jobs but will probably lead to an increase in really ugly homes without any “curb-appeal!” And this is nation wide! Once again at the mercy of our federal government. As told to me by the paint contractor, the money received by the EPA in fines and fees will go into a special fund for the specific purpose of…guess! Go ahead just guess, I bet you will never figure this one out. Give up? To hire more EPA agents to enforce the law! Is that not incredible? Maybe not, maybe you already saw that one coming, it was kind of a no-brainer.

Now the scary part.

Imagine this scenario, in the not too distant future, the EPA under duress from extreme environmentalists, decides that for everyone’s best interests, That lead ammunition should be banned along with lead based paint. Lead is lead…right? It has been proven that lead contamination is the very reason for retardation in children, by clinical analysts and this is just one more link in the deadly chain. It must be eradicated or abated, as they have stated. We would have to accept it, because it is for the good of the country. Right? Why there would be absolutely no objection to the banning of ammunition containing lead by any rational person. Only thing is, there is that silly little little “loop-hole” in the US Constitution called; The 2^nd Amendment. We know that one. The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, but; technically they would not be banning firearms, just the ammo. Well heck, that’s okay! I’m good with that. If it means saving the planet from destruction as a result of lead contamination, I would agree. Wouldn’t you? That’s probably what they are counting on.

They passed rules similar to this many years ago, only it was lead bird shot found in shot gun shells. The environmentalists were afraid that it would be used to hunt ducks and of course the shot would inevitably land in ponds and lakes and you guessed it; contamination and we all know what side those crazy environmentalists are on. Right?

Call me crazy, paranoid or whatever, but do you not think that the EPA has gained a little more power than necessary? I know that their job is to protect us, but really.

One cannot help but wonder why the Department Of Homeland Security, recently signed a contract with Winchester Firearms Corporation, for the procurement of 200 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition and on another note; Heckler and Koch recently inked a deal with the DHS for 65,000 new sidearms to be delivered to agencies under the DHS, representing the single largest procurement of firearms in history for a US Law Enforcement Agency at a cost of $26.2 million dollars. Amazing isn’t it? So what do they know, that we do not know? Hurry…go stick your head back in the sand and pretend you did not read this! It is all a dream.

~ How’s that “Hopey-Changy” thing working out for you? ~

This part of our bill of rights was so important in the eyes of the founders, that it was given top billing. First in the stack so to speak. Without freedom of speech and freedom of the press, freedom of religion, freedom to gather and to petition the government for a *redress of grievances, we would be living under the thumb of our government. These were wise men and they each knew what happens when your government becomes so powerful, that you live in fear of it.

So where are we at now? It appears that the very government that we have been the beneficiaries of, for so long is going askew. It has overgrown its boundaries and we are no longer in control of it, it on the other hand is controlling us. The very basic rights guaranteed to Americans, under the US Constitution are being continually put to the test and assaulted by what seems to be a leftist ideology. Is this conspiracy theory? Lets take a closer look and see.

Since it became all too apparent that this administration was veering away from it’s pre-election selling points of being a centrist and a uniter, with transparency in government and a post racial miracle cure, along with some hopey-changy B.S., followed by government takeovers of almost everything that makes money in this country and the insane squandering of our hard earned taxpayers dollars (mine too damn it!) via; TARP and pork-u-lus coupled with the arrogant attitude emanating from Washington which has been quite simply stated: “we are screwing you and there is not a hell-of-a-lot thing that you can do about it!” It is no wonder that mainstream America finally pulled their collective head’s out of the sand and screamed out loud; “WTF!” I know that I did and probably you too if you are reading this. To put it in simple, easy to understand language, that even a liberal can understand, you have pushed us to the breaking point and we are pissed!

My America, that I love so dearly, has been torn apart by this renegade administration and big brother is moving deeper into your and my life, than at any time in past history. This is what happens when you turn your backs on progressives and neglect to mind the store. They are thieves. They will steal you and I blind, right under our very nose if you let them. They have stolen our prosperity, our freedoms and our moral values.

Out of all of this chaos that they created, a movement arose; “The Tea Party.” Mainstream Americans that stood up finally and said; “we have had enough!” Now, look at it closely. Is it really a party? Not in the political party sense, or at least not yet. It is however doing something that is scaring the crap out of the progressives; it is growing. GROWING! They would love for it to just go away, back to what it was when they first took over DC. They have been so used to passing legislation without any thought of a backlash, that it just seemed normal to them. This is nothing new under the sun folks. They have been doing this for many years, you were just not paying attention.

~Honorable Mention ~

• Prohibition. They decided for you, that you did not need to take a drink any more. That went over real well. It Started the gangster wars and made law abiding citizens into common criminals. It also made a few people very wealthy. Like: the Kennedy’s.
• The gold standard. Once was a time when our currency was backed up by gold, in the federal depository. That is history. Now we just print more money when we run out. I wish that I could do that at home!
• Income tax. That was a great one!
• Social Security. Truly a marvelous plan, the only thing was; there was all of this un-spent money just laying there, what a great opportunity for the Feds. (They won’t even notice, if we take just a bit to pay some of our bills with.) It’s broke now and yes we noticed.

• Remember prayer in school? They took that away and you said; “okay we didn’t really need that anyways, it’s okay.”
• Welfare, social entitlements and affirmative action. Don’ t even get me started. The first one has sucked this country dry. Whatever happened to working for a living?
• Cut the military budget to balance the budget. That is how the progressives operate best. Spend more money than we have on entitlements, raise taxes and cut the military budget to pay for it. Who needs National Security anyways. Right? Clinton and his staff excelled in this.
• TARP
• Obama-Care. A Ponzi scam, to beat all Ponzi scams. A total lie from beginning to end.
• Immigration Policy. Or lack of a policy, is drying up the economies of many of our individual states. Their hospitals are overcrowded, law enforcement is taxed, our jails are full of illegals costing us a fortune and I have to press one for English. That in it self is ridiculous.

So “The Tea Party” has been born. Opposition in the form of Conservatism. The antithesis of progressivism. It has stuck in their craw and they are screaming out loud. Bigots! Racists! Anti- Americans! Brown Shirts! Home-grown Terrorists! Hard to defend yourself against all of those lies isn’t it? What are we really? Americans mostly. Working people, young and old, black and white, Some Asian and some Hispanic. People from all walks of life.

We have been asleep at the wheel way too long. The progressives will destroy this country, if left unchecked. You lose your liberties a little bit at the time and you are lulled into that; it will be alright mentality. Look what happened in less than two years. That really is nothing, compared to what has been happening all along. We let it happen. Look folks, it’s like this; the other side never rests. They keep on pushing their agenda regardless. They have been, for a very long time.

Our founding fathers were very smart and wise men. Notice that freedom of speech and religion are in the first amendment. Ahh…but the second amendment is the eye catcher!

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Why do you suppose that was next in importance? I will tell you why. In case the first amendment is violated. A well armed public is a deterrent to a government out of control. They know that all too well. So ask yourself this; what amendment have they been trying to get rid of the most? You guessed it. The second amendment. Think it cannot happen? Guess again.

So what is next on this administrations agenda? Want to make any bets? Stand up for your liberty. Teach your children about patriotism and the founding fathers of this great nation. Teach your children about the sanctity of the family and honor. Teach them to be ever alert to the dangers of apathy. Most of all; VOTE! Know your candidates and vote, every single election is important. It is your duty as an American citizen. Let this be a wake up call.

I think that the current controversy is a little too convenient, considering what is currently at the forefront of the nations attention. I don’t know about you, but this administration and it’s policies, are like a top fuel dragster headed down the speedway, completely out of control and we as spectators, are directly in it’s path. The only possible result is utter catastrophe. Now this Imam in New york is gathering the attention of the nation, while who knows what, happens behind our back. Kind of like the smoke and mirror tricks that they have used against us from the beginning, only now we are on to their game. If indeed it were a game. Folks, this is serious business’ and it isgoing on right in front of our very eyes. Downright scary

The nation that we know as the United States of America is at risk of losing it’s democracy. Only this time, instead of a foreign power trying to destroy us, our very own leadership is behind it. I have tried to look at all that has occurred in the short eighteen months that this administration has been in power and I can only come to one conclusion, they are trying to bring this nation down to it’s knees and along the way, they are telling us that all is well, that this is necessary because we are in a crisis.

The most radical legislation in the history of Congress has been pushed through against the will of the American people. Our government has been hijacked. They just keep on passing this garbage and all the while, they are telling us that it is necessary for the good of the country. Obama-care was slammed down our throats and we dared not speak out against it. Pelosi and her minions locked arms and walked belligerently through the people gathered to oppose it. Their actions that day were startling to say the very least. One bad bill after another, literally slammed down our throats, with words attached to them like; “We have to pass it to find out whats in it.” What kind of crap is that?

This country is divided as never before and all of it is a direct result of government policy. Are they trying to cause civil unrest? They are sure getting it. It’s like they keep drawing a line in the sand and challenging us to cross it! Like the bully on the block, daring us to do something about it.

This mosque issue, should not even be an issue. Where are the leaders who should be standing up and saying not only NO, but HELL NO! Where are their balls? Do they have any at all? What is wrong with the leadership of this great nation? Where have all of the PATRIOTS gone to? Do any of them up there even care about their own country? Any one?

Obama-care stank like fresh manure, from the very beginning and like a bunch of mindless idiots, they passed it anyways. The TARP bill was ill conceived and yet, just like Emeril Lagasse; “BAMMM!” There it was. We never had a chance. We the people, are now completely at the mercy of this bunch of lunatics in charge and all the while they look down on us with utter contempt. Harry Reid, chief thug in charge looks upon us, as though we are insects and he is the big thumb. It is infuriating. What has happened in this short time to the country that I know? The people standing up to this mosque, are now being compared to NAZIS! How can this be? Have they forgotten what is not there any more? Have they forgotten how many of us were slaughtered there on 9-11?

Now there is a back-lash. Have they miscalculated? Not only have the people been pushing back, but the individual states are pushing back against this insanity. Lawsuits are popping up everywhere and there is talk of repealing Obama-care, much to the chagrin of this administration, who now appears to see that the same old lines that they have been sending our way are no longer effective. We are not as stupid as they believe us to be.

Who should we fear? The Imam or Obama? I think that the least of our worries is this Imam. We have two more years of this president and I for one am worried. What is next?

November offers a glimmer of hope to a beleaguered nation and it will not come soon enough. Send those treacherous men in Washington a clear message on the 2^nd. WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH! You work for us! I hope that all will see how easily freedom can be lost as a result of all of this turmoil and never allow this to happen again. Hope and Change. I don’t know about you but, I have all of that I can stand!

For the first time in a very long time, the basic freedoms that we have enjoyed as a free nation, are at stake.

Lets take a glance around us and see if we can make sense of it all.

Our economy is in the tank. There are no signs of immediate relief and it seems as if our government is oblivious to it all, while unemployment is at an all time high, mortgages are failing at record rates, corporations are going broke and we are bailing them out right and left, faster than the money can be printed. There seems to be no urgent need for our leaders to look at the books, which shows disastrous consequence for such unprecedented spending. Does anyone up there in DC even care? Apparently not.

Then there is Mexico. Our southern neighbor. The economy there, is even worse than here and they are coming across the border by the thousands. No effort by our federal government to try and slow it down, let alone stop it. Add to the mix, the drug lords and their war against the Mexican government. Last count, over 26,000 killed, as a result of this deadly war and it is just across the border. Illegals are coming across the border and now are carrying backpacks full of drugs and weapons. The amount being brought across on a daily basis, verified by video surveillance is sobering. The drug cartels are setting up power bases in our own country and yet our federal government says that there is nothing that they can do about it. Arizona tried to take matters into their own hands and the feds sued them in court, won and had it stopped. Amazingly, they will not do anything and yet they stand in the way of those trying to stop it.

Hugo Chavez, currently setting himself up as dictator of Venezuela and allying himself with the likes of Iran, Syria, China and Russia. Who are more than elated with that idea and are sending him weapons, technology and advisers. Last seen in Iran touring their nuclear facilities and hugging Mahmoud Ahmadinajad, both seemed to be having a grand old time in the photos taken at the meeting. Iran is interested in uranium deposits in Venezuela. I wonder what mischief those two crazy guys are cooking up?

Then there is our old friend Louis Farrahkahn and his nation of Islam cult, still jabbering behind the scenes about the wicked white man and his imminent demise at their hands. Yes, he wants to destroy America and all of the evil white people that inhabit it, with the help of some aliens, that are orbiting the Earth in a mother-ship about a half mile in diameter, filled to the brim with 1500 bomber planes, just waiting to destroy the white race and restore the true master race of Africans and African Americans back to power. What? He said that he has been on board and that is the truth, you can not make this stuff up folks! I believe his cheese has finally slid off of his cracker, maybe they are here to take him and his band of crazies back home, one can only hope. All of this still does not make him any less dangerous.

Just when you thought that things could not get any worse, there is Iran. Working fast and furious trying to become a nuclear power. They will do this and I emphasize “WILL”. Meanwhile we foolishly keep thinking that a big group hug by our fearless leader PBO and an apology or two for all of the terrorist countries, will make it better somehow and all will be okay here. Maybe they will leave us alone, one might think. Well think about this, in just two days, Russian technicians will lower the uranium fuel rods into the nuclear reactor at Bushehr. Thus enabling Iran to produce Plutonium 239. The fissile material needed for an Atomic Bomb. Not to worry though, Russia says that they negotiated a deal with Tehran and will take the spent rods back to the mother-land for processing, rather than Iran. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. How about you? Wow, a nation dedicated to the destruction of Israel and the USA, with nukes!

Mahmoud being the incredibly sane man that he is, still believes that the holocaust was a fake and that we dropped the Twin Towers in New York, instead of the Islamic Terrorist’s and having seen the hidden Imam who will bring about the Muslim’s version of Revelations (or the end of the world) with Islam being the good guys and winning the final war, is a pretty scary scenario. Recently they put a communication satellite into orbit, with a two stage ballistic missile, that only lacks a re-entry vehicle and guidance mechanism for a nuclear weapon but, relax this will not take long with all of our friends in the world who would gladly trade that bit of technology for some of Iran’s oil and natural gas reserves. Besides, everyone else in the world now hates us, even our longtime allies that this administration has snubbed. How long will it be before Iran calls our bluff and detonates a Nuke somewhere? Maybe even here.

The latest hot topic, being the Mosque at ground zero in New York and all of the rhetoric coming from both sides of the debate. Some saying that the US Constitution states that they have a right to build there to express their freedom of religion and others saying that the mastermind behind this plan is a radical Muslim and that 3000 American deaths on that site at the hands of terrorist’s are the reason why it should be banned. I don’t know…lets see…Where were you on 9/11? Did you see those people jumping out of the top floors of the Towers rather than being burnt alive? I wasn’t even there and am still traumatized by that scene. It was horrible and the families of those victims will get to hear the Adhan or the Muslim call to prayer five times a day, only to remind them of that fateful day if this thing is allowed to be built there. Is it a provocation? I would say so, as there are no less than 100 mosques already in New York, why do they need one in that exact location? Are they building bridges?Do they think that it will heal an open wound? I think that it will do the exact opposite and that is their intention. It is a victory mosque. If allowed, it will show the world that they won the battle.

Islam and infidels can not co-exist according to the Qur’an. Us and all of the free world being infidels (or those who do not except Islam). We are likened to all things foul; urine, excrement, pigs, etc. We as infidels are not even allowed into the city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia, the holy place of Islam, by virtue of the fact that they believe that we are not clean. Could we go to Saudi and build a Christian Church? We would be shot dead, if we even dared. According to the Qur’an, if we do not except Islam, we will be killed. It is every good Muslim’s duty to see that this is accomplished. There are no moderate Muslim’s who live by the Qur’an, contrary to what you are being told.

So where does this take us to? I spoke earlier about Revelations. An obscure book in the Holy Bible. Some call it a myth. Have you ever taken the time to read it? I have, many times over. It is about prophesy and the future of the human race. The last battle between the forces of good and evil, with the forces of good defeating evil for the final time, but not before most of humanity is destroyed. That battle-ground being a place in Israel called Megiddo. The text is mysterious, but it is a depiction of the total devastation of what we call civilization. If taken in the literal sense, it is in fact a nuclear war. With verses that depict the flesh being burned off of the bones before they even hit the ground, followed by disease, famine and more death. But not before a single world wide religion appears, along with one currency and one world wide government. Sound familiar? Look no further than Europe and the European Union as a model. All who joined the EU, gave up their currency for a new one, the Euro. In essence, they also gave up their individual sovereignty as a result of their joining. Then take a long look at Islam. They want the entire world and at the rate Islam is spreading it will not be much longer before that becomes a reality.

These are dangerous times. Our world has been through and survived many bad moments in history. The exception is; there were no nukes. We have seen what they can do in our generation. They brought an empire to it’s knees and ended a world war. Now, many nations around the globe have them. We endured a cold war with the constant threat of nuclear holocaust, but sanity prevailed. What if Adolph Hitler had developed the Atom Bomb before we did? What a different world this would be right now. He was a mad-man. A mad-man with a nuclear weapon, these are things that nightmares are made of.

Still think that the Book of Revelations is a myth?

This passage from the Holy Bible is chilling, it is from the book of Matthew, chapter 24, verses 6-11:

6- And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7- For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places.

8- All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9- Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10- And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11- And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

I am not preaching, but look around. Do you like what you see? Are you worried? You should be. This country was founded by God fearing men. We are off course. Morality is gone. Families are broken apart. Honor is a forgotten word. Religion is being demonized. Government is out of control. What should we do? I do not know about you, but I know what I do. I pray. Everyday. Think about it.

During the Cold War, the Mighty Soviet Empire cast it’s long shadow over the world and once again the United States stood up to the challenge and the USSR was defeated. Tyranny doesn’t seem to last too long before people get tired of oppression and rise to the cause of bringing it down. Tyrants usually die at the hands of those that they practice their tyranny on. Yet, the tyrants of this world never seem to be in short supply. Why is that. The answer is simple. People as a whole tend to forget the past. They forget what history has taught them. They put all of the ugliness away in search of that perfect day. I wonder if those who died at the hands of tyrants ever rest? Do you think they lie in peace? I think not.

The souls of the dead never rest, they serve as constant reminders to all who live, freedom is never to be taken for granted. Peace can only be achieved by those willing to sacrifice. Our gallant soldiers who died in the name of freedom knock at your door trying to tell you; “Do you remember me? I died for you and your family so that you may sleep peacefully this night!” So many heroes, so soon forgotten, that we have to build monuments to remember who they were. Here are a few.

Now in the great city of New York, on the site of one of the most cowardly, treacherous attacks ever committed against this nation. Where 3000 American citizens died at the hands our enemy, many whose bodies were never found due to the complete devastation, a literal tomb for those in the building at the time and the heroes who tried in vain to save them. A group of Muslim’s led by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, want to erect a Mosque on that hallowed ground. A sign of victory for Islam. A monument to the 19 hijackers who died as heroes to the Muslim world by killing American citizens on American ground.

President Barrack Hussein Obama, has now come out in favor of this act of treachery. Who is leading our country?

They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific reassurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” In other words; “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction,” says Obama”.

If a monument is to be built on that site it should be reserved to those who paid the ultimate price for freedom on that fateful day. Those innocents killed and the first responders who died trying to save them. On that day Americans came together as a nation and put aside race, gender, religious and political views and for the first time since WWII we were a nation united by a treacherous act. Now we are divided as never before by this administration and it’s policies. ENOUGH!

What does it take to destroy a nation? Hitler could not do it, the USSR could not do it. Barrack Hussein Obama, our 44^th president, may very well be the one, who single handedly brings this great nation to it’s knees in front of the world. He has taken over; Wall Street, the banks, the auto industry, our medical system and our education system via student loans. He has driven us to the point of financial ruin with TARP, bail-outs and failed stimulus. Unemployment is the new norm. Our economy is on the verge of ruin. We are at the edge of the precipice.

Those who have died for LIBERTY and FREEDOM for this great nation are knocking once again at your door. If the last bastion of freedom on this planet falls at the hands of tyrants, what will you tell them? What will you say to them when you meet them in eternity?

Where I come from, they have a name for people who give away government secrets that may endanger American lives on the battle field; “TRAITOR”. Plain and simple. If you give away state secrets to the rest of the world, including our enemy’s; then you are guilty of treason and should be dealt with accordingly. Army Pfc. Bradley Manning literally leaked thousands of of sensitive documents to Wikileaks and its founder; Julian Assange, endangering personnel in the field and at home. Knowingly publishing these documents had only one intent, undermining the U.S. Military’s presence in the Middle East. Both are equally guilty of nothing less than espionage.

What is so upsetting about the affair, is the fact that Manning is or was a trusted member of the US Armed Forces. There used to be this thing called “HONOR” that was held sacred by members of the Military. Where did that go? Not unlike Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who killed 12 and wounded 31 of his fellow soldiers at Ft. Hood back in November, who I consider to be a cowardly terrorist acting in the name of holy jihad against the US, Manning is just as guilty as if he had pulled the trigger and unloaded his weapon on a group of his fellow soldiers, killing as many as he could without remorse. They used to put people like this up against a wall and a firing squad. Which is the least these two scoundrels deserve.

What happened to “DUTY and HONOR “ in this country? Look no further than Washington DC and you will see the very same thing; a lack of honor representing our country. Scandal after scandal rocks the nation and not just recently, go back to the days of President Richard Nixon and Watergate. He was so sure of his power as absolute, that he broke the law without regard for the consequences and was eventually ratted out by his own people, who were even less honorable than he was for ratting him out to avoid prosecution. Look how the vermin jump off of the ship when it is sinking. Bill “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” Clinton, used the power of the office of President, to escape prosecution and lied on television to the American public and under oath. “HONOR.” Sadly missing from the most honorable institutions of this great country.

Look at Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Rangel and the rest of those hooligans that are our supposed leaders, sworn to uphold the most cherished document of this great nation; the US Constitution. They totally trashed the spirit and meaning of one of the most important symbols of freedom that we have in order to pass some of the most unconstitutional pieces of legislation in the history of our nation. The “Founding Father’s” who helped write these precious documents were some of the most “HONORABLE” men alive at that moment in history, who literally risked life and property for these papers.

This group that we have up there now would sell out their own mother to pass a piece of trash, such as they have done recently, with little regard for their fellow country men or the fate of our nation. Lies and bribery are all that this generation of lawmakers are comfortable with. The offices that they hold should be above reproach and an example of “HONOR” for the entire world to see. They should all be ashamed.

In my parents generation, “HONOR and RESPECTABILITY” were the words of the day. If you did not have anything to your name, you had those two remarkable traits. These are what made this country great, along with the will to be the very best at everything that we did. This is what made this country great. Our entrepreneurship and love of country. Now all of that gone as a result of GREED. Our power hungry rulers are not happy with the status quo and will sell us out to the highest bidder to acquire even more power and more control of the very people that placed them into office.

Patriots tired of laws and taxes passed against their homeland without their consent, far less tyranny than we are currently being handed down by our rulers, was the spark that started Revolutionary war that separated a young colony away from it’s mother-land and formed a new country called; THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The founders of this great nation knew all to well that too much power in the hands of it’s government, would lead to corruption and eventually, tyranny. So they engineered the Constitution as carefully as they could to prevent this from occurring.

This administration has shredded that document and those “HONORABLE” words for it’s own gain. They should not be fooled into thinking that the people of this great nation will stand idly by and do nothing. PATRIOTS, Stand and be heard!

On March 21, 2010, Al Sharpton told Fox News, during the House of Representative’s passage of health care reform legislation; “I think that the president and Nancy Pelosi get credit, I think this began the transforming of the country the way the president had promised. This is what he ran on and if that transformation is socialism, then so be it. That is what the American public “overwhelmingly” voted for.”

It doesn’t come any louder or clearer than that. The cat is finally out of the bag.

We now also know that the healthcare bill is not about healthcare, it is indeed a tax, as I said all along. Right out of the New York times on July 16, 2010; “WASHINGTON — When Congress required most Americans to obtain health insurance or pay a penalty, Democrats denied that they were creating a new tax. But in court, the Obama administration and its allies now defend the requirement as an exercise of the government’s “power to lay and collect taxes.”
And that power, they say, is even more sweeping than the federal power to regulate interstate commerce.

Administration officials say the tax argument is a linchpin of their legal case in defense of the health care overhaul and its individual mandate, now being challenged in court by more than 20 states and several private organizations.”

Why else would they leave the collection of the money in the capable hands of the IRS. Did you foolishly believe for a minute that all of his smoke and mirror parlor tricks were for your health? If you did then you are indeed a sucker. When he promised you transparency in government, you were just looking in the wrong place for it. It was right in front of your eyes, all you had to do was look in the right direction. He said he was going to change America and he is doing exactly what he said he would do. Meanwhile you were laying on the sofa thinking that everything will work out just fine, surely it won’t change things that much. What a bunch of simpletons you are!

So why are you complaining? Now; what options do you have? Do you think that the “Tea Party” is going to stop all of this? Like the Calvary will come charging in with the bugler blowing “CHARGE” and all is going to be okay? You may well be mistaken. Do you honestly think that this congress is going to just turn around in November and repeal all of this? Why would they do that? They have been trying to get this done since the 40′s. You fell asleep at the wheel and look what happened. It is truly amazing how incredibly stupid and forgetful that the American public is. It is almost laughable.

In my own state of Georgia a gentleman named Roy Barnes is on the democratic ticket for governor this year. He won the Georgia primary and is their candidate. That doesn’t sound too awful unless you take into consideration the facts, that not to long ago, he was elected governor. His nickname was “King-Roy” and he was denied a second term by conservative voters, who were fed up with his lies and taxes, but here he is once again running on the exact same platform. Just as we are talking about cutting back, to balance the state budget, he is talking about putting teachers back to work who were furloughed and the only way to do that is to increase spending. Now look me in the eye and tell me that he isn’t planning on raising our taxes to get that little bit of trickery accomplished. If the teachers get together and vote this man back in, after they collectively tossed him out, then I have no sympathy for them. You absolutely, get what you pay for.

Which brings me back to PBO and the “Tea Party”. Good intentions aside, how are they going to change the way the Government conducts business? The house of representatives and the senate have been in power, long enough to circumvent any means of running them out of office. Hell, even when one of them, the likes of Charlie Rangle is caught red handed with his hand in the cookie jar, nothing will happen. There will be an investigation, he will make a deal and he may even resign, but I guarantee you, he will leave with full benefits, the likes of which you and I will never see in our lifetime.

When Obama-Care was passed, they conveniently exempted themselves, their staff and family from it. They have the best healthcare in the world and guess who pays for it. You and I.
The real problem in Washington is the government itself. It is a packaged deal with lots of perks, for those lucky enough to walk the halls as a senator or representative. There is an unlimited amount of money and power at their finger tips. It is like a den of thieves, all of them drunken with their power of office. It is a fraternity. Once in, you are a player. You will never see them overtly slamming another member of their ranks. They may disagree over policy, but that is about all that they will do. They protect each other. Kind of like the “World Wrestling Federation”. The wrestlers put on a great show as they yell at each other and slam their opponent to the canvas, sometimes with real blood in the mix, but at the end of the day, they will go to a club and share a beer or two, with a few laughs about that nights show. Believe me, it is all a show. This is exactly what our congress does. In the end, they are all on the same page, they just represent different party’s.

So you have these grandiose ideas that in November, you are going to make a change. Good luck with that. Until the day comes when, honor and integrity return to this nation, I feel that day of redemption will be far away. Many have went to congress with the notion that they are going to make a change for the better. It never happened. Just ask Scott Brown.

What will it take? Somebody with guts. Somebody with determination. Somebody with the will to run the corruption out of our government. I hope that he surfaces soon before it is too late.

In retrospect, maybe the “Tea Party” will make them take a closer look at who they are actually screwing: their fellow Americans. Maybe they will feel shame and remorse for their dirty deeds. One can only hope. We may actually be able to rid ourselves of a few bad ones, in November. Who will have the character to stand up to the indoctrination that they are going to be faced with, when they finally get there? What has happened here is a total loss of morality. They ran God off. Now look who is leading the way.

Add to the mix, the NAACP’s recent charges, that the Tea Party Movement is steeped in racism and you have yourself a virtual powder keg. Tensions on both sides of the arena, are being played by a continuous bombardment by the Propaganda Ministry’s news media. It is all too clear to those who will “see”.

PBO knows that all of his failed policies and attempts to turn this country into a European style Socialist State or even worse yet, a Marxist Regime, have gone against Main Street Americans boundaries. This places all of the bill’s, that he and his henchmen have willfully and wantonly succeeded in shoving down the throats of unwilling taxpayers, with a total disregard for the rule of law and in direct defiance of the US Constitution, in jeopardy. He realizes that November’s mid-term elections, will more than likely end his ability to skirt the law and force him to use the US Congress in the manner that it was intended by our Founding Father’s.

By initiating a racial crisis he is gambling, that it will bring out the African-American vote in force in the November elections or start another racial crisis that may lead to violence and force a postponement of the crucial elections just four months away.

The very best thing for the Tea Party Movement to do in response to this blatant, race baiting game that they so skillfully employ, is ignore the banter being generated by the left and get through the elections without any incident.

With the Government’s recent inaction on the Gulf oil spill crisis, to usher in the Cap and Trade bill, that will also be shoved down our throats, just as surely as the health care bill was, as a result of a so-called health care crisis, or the takeover of our banking system as a result of a banking crisis, or the takeover of the auto manufacturers as a result of a crisis there. It appears that the Liberals in Washington, now fear the very real possibility of losing their precious jobs, paid for by; us the US Taxpayers, as a result of the elections in November. So, their Ministry of Propaganda is trying to create yet another crisis to stave off a blood bath in the mid terms!

The members of the Tea Party Movement should take this advice; do not stray from the path. Do not lash out at the injustice being done recently. Hold the course until November, when we can reign in this nonsense and bring about a halt to the tyranny being forced upon us by this corrupt and despicable administration. Once his seat of power is taken away from him, he will be easily defeated in the next election as long as we toe the line and continue the vigil. At that time maybe we can have these horrendous budget busting, unconstitutional laws repealed or at least de-funded.

Perhaps no one has said it better than Rush Limbaugh, “You can always tell who the Liberals fear the most, all you have to do is listen to them.” As of late; The Tea Party and Sarah Palin seem to occupy most of their chatter.

The movement behind The Tea Party is grass-roots and will bet the catalyst for the un-doing of this Presidency. Stay the course and do not blink!
