Islama-phobia or Obama-phobia? The Trillion Dollar Question.

What is it really? Are we working our selves up in a frenzy over a fear of Islam, or is it a result of our distrust of Obama? That is the million dollar question or should I say; trillion dollar question. Probably the latter.

I think that the current controversy is a little too convenient, considering what is currently at the forefront of the nations attention. I don’t know about you, but this administration and it’s policies, are like a top fuel dragster headed down the speedway, completely out of control and we as spectators, are directly in it’s path. The only possible result is utter catastrophe. Now this Imam in New york is gathering the attention of the nation, while who knows what, happens behind our back. Kind of like the smoke and mirror tricks that they have used against us from the beginning, only now we are on to their game. If indeed it were a game. Folks, this is serious business’ and it isgoing on right in front of our very eyes. Downright scary

The nation that we know as the United States of America is at risk of losing it’s democracy. Only this time, instead of a foreign power trying to destroy us, our very own leadership is behind it. I have tried to look at all that has occurred in the short eighteen months that this administration has been in power and I can only come to one conclusion, they are trying to bring this nation down to it’s knees and along the way, they are telling us that all is well, that this is necessary because we are in a crisis.

The most radical legislation in the history of Congress has been pushed through against the will of the American people. Our government has been hijacked. They just keep on passing this garbage and all the while, they are telling us that it is necessary for the good of the country. Obama-care was slammed down our throats and we dared not speak out against it. Pelosi and her minions locked arms and walked belligerently through the people gathered to oppose it. Their actions that day were startling to say the very least. One bad bill after another, literally slammed down our throats, with words attached to them like; “We have to pass it to find out whats in it.” What kind of crap is that?

This country is divided as never before and all of it is a direct result of government policy. Are they trying to cause civil unrest? They are sure getting it. It’s like they keep drawing a line in the sand and challenging us to cross it! Like the bully on the block, daring us to do something about it.

This mosque issue, should not even be an issue. Where are the leaders who should be standing up and saying not only NO, but HELL NO! Where are their balls? Do they have any at all? What is wrong with the leadership of this great nation? Where have all of the PATRIOTS gone to? Do any of them up there even care about their own country? Any one?

Obama-care stank like fresh manure, from the very beginning and like a bunch of mindless idiots, they passed it anyways. The TARP bill was ill conceived and yet, just like Emeril Lagasse; “BAMMM!” There it was. We never had a chance. We the people, are now completely at the mercy of this bunch of lunatics in charge and all the while they look down on us with utter contempt. Harry Reid, chief thug in charge looks upon us, as though we are insects and he is the big thumb. It is infuriating. What has happened in this short time to the country that I know? The people standing up to this mosque, are now being compared to NAZIS! How can this be? Have they forgotten what is not there any more? Have they forgotten how many of us were slaughtered there on 9-11?

Now there is a back-lash. Have they miscalculated? Not only have the people been pushing back, but the individual states are pushing back against this insanity. Lawsuits are popping up everywhere and there is talk of repealing Obama-care, much to the chagrin of this administration, who now appears to see that the same old lines that they have been sending our way are no longer effective. We are not as stupid as they believe us to be.

Who should we fear? The Imam or Obama? I think that the least of our worries is this Imam. We have two more years of this president and I for one am worried. What is next?

November offers a glimmer of hope to a beleaguered nation and it will not come soon enough. Send those treacherous men in Washington a clear message on the 2^nd. WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH! You work for us! I hope that all will see how easily freedom can be lost as a result of all of this turmoil and never allow this to happen again. Hope and Change. I don’t know about you but, I have all of that I can stand!

For the first time in a very long time, the basic freedoms that we have enjoyed as a free nation, are at stake.

Obama-Care, Not Quite The Bargain That Was Pitched.

The last time that I went to the fair was about three years ago. Mainly we went to eat all of the stuff that you can’t seem to find anywhere else, like; elephant ears, cotton candy, gyros, Italian sausage and green pepper hoagies and my most favorite of all; candied apples. Amidst all of the lights and loud music there is a plethora of things that will entertain you, fill you up and for sure; take your money.

The Midway, nothing like it! The smell of all of that great stuff cooking. Popcorn being consumed at a phenomenal rate. Those electrifying rides, the side shows and of course; the games. A huge selection of stuffed animals, photos of Elvis adorned with gold frames, jewelry hanging there right in front of your eyes almost within reach, bowls of gold-fish on the table, yours for just the mere toss of a dime! All of that flash adorning the games. You are guaranteed to win something almost every time! Or are you?

There in their hour of glory, the ever-present Carny. Pitching the possibilities of winning that elusive prize! Today, it can be yours for just a buck! Man they make it look so simple. Just throw the ball and knock the milk bottles down and you can win the biggest Teddy Bear ever made! How easy can it be? Listen to the sounds of the Carny. The greatest sales pitch guy’s ever!

“Hurry right up folks! It’s amazing, it’s dazzlin’, it’s almost too good to be true. Step right up, step right up, times a wastin’ folks. Tell ya what I’m gonna do! You don’t hafta knock’em off. Tip’em flat. Four flat gets you choice. One win’s all it takes. Biggest per-rizes on the midway. Who’s uh next a heah?! You pay your money you take your chances.” Like music to our ears; the call, with the possibility to get something great for almost nothing, was very alluring to some. PT Barnum once said; “ there’s a sucker born every minute!” He must have seen a few of us coming!

Apparently the fair isn’t the only place that we can all stand back and watch the Carny’s at work. One must look no farther than Washington DC. Two of the greatest Carny’s of all time preside over the Senate and the House of Representatives. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Harry and Nancy are two of the greatest butcher’s on the midway and their sole intention from the beginning of the hard sell, was to burn the lot! The entire health care bill was a gaff and the mark’s were easy pickings. All of this made their agent very, very, happy for all of their hard work.

Don’t quite understand the lingo? In the world of a Carny, it’s easy enough. You see, a butcher is a Carny, who will take every penny from a mark, by confusing him and then forcing him to pay. When you burn the lot, you intend to cheat all of the players with little or no attempt to conceal the illegality or the cheat of the scam because; from the perspective of the Carny, they won’t ever play the same town again anyways, and of course a gaff is a un-winnable game. Which makes some of us, the mark. So, who is their agent? Well he is none other than their boss, the commander-in-chief. PBO (Obama). Understand any of that?

Let’s back the clock up a bit. Health care was supposed to be deficit neutral. That is the pitch that they made or, the call. According to the CBO, their entire bill would come out under a trillion dollars and would actually help to reduce the deficit. What? Come on now…they intend to spend $900 billion of our hard-earned tax payer money and actually, “reduce the debt?” They said that folks! Some people or marks bit that and fell for the whole enchilada. Remember PT Barnum? He said it best, I won’t repeat it again, that would be redundant. All of the Carny’s, assaulted the conservatives or in Carny lingo, the sharpie’s (those who are wise to the ways of the Carny and his crooked games) and played us off as liars and doom-mongers. Remember PBO and what he said as he was signing the bill? “It was a pleasant day, the sky was blue and I looked around me, I didn’t see any Armageddon!” He must have thought us sharpies were hammer-squash (stupid) on that day!

So why is it that after that great call by PBO, Reid and Pelosi, that the CBO now says the final tally will be well over a $1 trillion? Oh yeah, there was that little remark by the butcher herself, Ms. Pelosi, “in order to find out what’s in the bill, we have to pass it first.” Derrrr! Did you see that coming? Did any one else? What a bunch of mooch’s (that’s the same as a mark)! All the while, they had their hands in our poke trying to make off with our scratch for the big score! Don’t even ask…

Obama’s Socialist Agenda Places Freedom Of Speech In Jeopardy

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

The first amendment of the Constitution of the United States ratified on December 15, 1791. One of the ten bill of rights. Noticeably, the very first one. Deemed as absolutely one of the most important aspects of a free society and maintaining it. Without freedom of speech we are all slaves to our government. If we do not have the right to speak out or assemble freely, then freedom is lost.

Every dictator that has ever tried or succeeded in taking control of its people and their assets did so by first taking away freedom of speech and controlling the news media. Hitler’s Third Reich excelled in state-run media and propaganda. Stalin used the media to further his brutal regime. Throughout history, there is a multitude of instances where people were enslaved, by first making it illegal to speak out against the ruling party. It is a tried and proven formula.

Our founding father’s were very well aware of the power of free speech and chose to place this idea as first on the list of freedoms guaranteed by our constitution. These freedoms were fought for and sacrificed with blood, by the first patriots that helped to form this country that we now know as the United States of America. Freedom of speech is the most cherished of our basic rights. In this country we have had the privilege to speak out in public about our own government. Even those that denounce us have that same right, much to our own chagrin. Even so, it is what makes this country so exceptional in the world arena.

Our countrymen have fought for and died to preserve this right for you and I. It is not to be taken lightly. Freedom is a fleeting thing. It can be taken away from you right in front of your very nose. Hugo Chavez is right at this very moment using this tactic to turn Venezuela into a Marxist society. He has closed down much of the public media and imprisoned some of the owners for their anti-government press. He has authorized his puppet government to take control of public business’s and taken over their assets. He is aligning his government with other communist country’s like Cuba, China and the former Soviet Union, which looks as if it is headed back to its old communist regime.

This is happening at a time in history when we have the internet with all of its mass media and information available at the push of a button instantaneously. One would think it inconceivable that this sort of Marxist takeover could even occur with the knowledge available to the people of the world, but it happens even so. A figure in history; Jim Jones of the infamous Jonestown massacre, had a sign placed prominently over his pulpit that read; “Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it.” This is the absolute truth.

The liberal news media in this country has been attempting to sway the public opinion of the Obama administration from day one and is singularly responsible for the outcome of the last election and since the passage of the health care reform bill, they have started a constant stream of propaganda aimed squarely at the opposition to this administration and the current Congress that pushed this bill through without the support of the majority.

Legislation is currently being proposed by Congress that would reinstate a federal communications policy known as the “fairness doctrine.” This legislation is a rehash of a bill first proposed in 1949 and is called; the “Fairness in Broadcasting Act of 1993. At first glance, it’s purpose is to equalize topics of discussion, to give a balanced presentation of conflicting news stories on radio and news broadcasts. It appears to have a sinister side as well. If enacted, it gives the FCC bureaucrats unprecedented power to control what can be said on the air waves. This is a dangerous step towards censorship and controlling the press by the federal government.

The Tea Party movement has now been targeted by the left, as a radical group and the left has been quoted as saying that they may be encouraging extremists. The recent coordinated crack down by the FBI on the Christian Militia group in Michigan, who are accused of plotting to undermine the federal government, has been blown all out of proportion by the mainstream news media in an apparent attempt to associate anyone speaking out against the Obama administration’s agenda with a small group of people who are extremists, thus trying to minimize the role of the Tea Party movement in the upcoming midterm elections. Even from day one, the right has been associated with violence and “Brown Shirts.” This from Speaker Pelosi herself.

Obama recently said that the protesters were mostly “birthers” and people who think he is a socialist. The state-run news media plays right along with his ideology. Now we are deemed as; racist-haters. The power of the press is very obvious and if you can control it, you are in a position to control what people think and substitute your own doctrine.

Recently, Obama said publicly that the radio talk shows like Rush Limbaugh and Shaun Hannity need to tone down the rancor about his policies. Is this now the agenda of this administration, to curtail freedom of speech? These are indeed scary times for the very last bastion of freedom on this planet.

Clearly the majority of American people have come to their senses and realized what is going on. The very fabric of liberty has been torn. The Constitution of the United States has been assaulted by this administration and we as a people need to stand up against this attack on our freedom before it is too late.

A Third Party?

If nothing else was resolved as a result of the weekend vote in Congress, one thing did become very apparent with the passage of Obamacare. The American public which had been remaining quiet about the issues came alive with a loud roar. Much to the surprise of the Democrats it appears, who thought that they may come out as heroes for making such a bold move in spite of all of the polling. The unheard Americans came out in droves, outraged at this latest show of non-concern for the people of this nation. A bill that was so unpopular from its birth to its passage with the majority of us screaming all the way. NO!

It was the same way when the first stimulus was passed. Everyone thought that it was a bad idea but they voted for it anyways. What do you do? If these votes are any indication of what is going to happen next in the way of unpopular legislation; America brace yourself! It is only going to get worse.

Now the finger-pointing and the I told you so’s are flying faster than you can blink your eyes. The Democrats are in full damage control mode and the Republicans are out to make a point with the reconciliation bill now in the Senate. The Republicans vowing to stop it. Some of the individual States threatening to sue over it and most of America is mad as hell. All the while, Obama and his staff are sitting around slapping themselves on the back for a job well done. Totally unconcerned about the aftermath.

So, back to the point at hand. Who is to blame for this? Most of America is upset with the Democrats for so arrogantly passing this hideous piece of legislation without the support of the majority. After all this is a Democracy. Right? They are supposed to be our voice in Government. That is why they were voted in, in the first place or at least, that is what we thought. So then, should we blame the Democrats? They are in complete control of both the Senate and the House. This was the perfect storm. If you know anything about liberals then it should not have come as a shock to you to see this bill pass. It was Obama’s stated mission from day one. Health care reform. He did it, he said he was going to do it, plain and simple! He out-foxed all of us right in front of our own noses. The Democrats followed their leader right over the edge of the precipice. This was all predictable. So we can’t really blame the Democrats for doing what they have been trying to do for a very long time now.

If there is blame to be thrown around, throw a lot of it at the Republicans in Congress. Through the past two sessions prior to this, there was a serious lack of fiscal responsibility on their part and an arrogance all of their own toward the public. America was fed up with them and the legislative branch not to mention, the Presidency of George W. Bush. Bogged down in a war that nobody wanted us to stay in. WMD’s in Iraq that apparently never materialized and increased spending. All of this and a poor choice of a candidate to represent the party for the next election all spelled disaster for the Republicans. They abandoned their conservative base and many became what they now call RINO’s. Republicans in name only. People were tired of the same old politics and wanted change. Well, they got it. Although many now have buyers remorse.

Okay, so where do we go from here as conservatives? I am a little bit worried about some of the movements going on as a result of this fiasco. The Tea Party movement wants to start a third party and I can understand the sentiment. They are fed up with the current status quo. The left is too radical and the right has lost its might. So, let’s start a new party. I don’t know about you, but this concerns me. I wish it was really that easy. It’s not.

The Democrats emboldened by their victory over the masses must now feel like they are invincible. Arguably the next legislation on the slate is immigration reform. Seven and a half million illegal aliens in this country screaming for amnesty. They are potential Democrat supporters. Just waiting on a bill to pass, that may guarantee the Democrats a win, if they are granted the same rights as other citizens. Add to that, the possibility of a third party and we may be shooting our selves in our own foot. A third party could very well split the vote in a critical election and cause a Democrat to win. Remember what happened when Ross Perot got into the race and then got out only to get back in at the last moment? George Bush Sr. should have won that race hands down, but Perot became the spoiler and Clinton won by a narrow margin. It could happen again. Harry Reid said that he would invite a third party in with open arms. Can you blame him? Politically, he is doomed as a result of his actions in the Senate.

There will be lawsuits filed challenging this thing for sure. The Republicans are vowing to repeal it. In order for that to happen, the House and the Senate will have to be taken back. The public doesn’t have a lot of faith in either party right now and are pondering what to do. We have to think this one out. A third party sounds like the answer, but in all likelihood will sabotage any effort to retake congress. The Republican Party has some soul-searching to do. If they indeed want to remain a viable party for conservatives then they will have to implement change within their own ranks. Change that we can believe in or a third party will evolve and that could leave the liberals in power for a very long time. We cannot afford that alternative.

What have we learned as a result of all of this? Don’t trust the liberals comes to the top of the stack right away. I expect a tsunami in November’s elections, but it may not materialize if common sense and good judgment do not prevail.

Checkmate. Obamacare passes the House.

The Congressional switch board was literally jammed Saturday with an estimated one hundred thousand calls per hour coming in prior to and during the vote on Obamacare. The stage was set for a final showdown between the House of Representatives and the voting public and that is exactly what it amounted to; a showdown. All of the polls from start to finish indicated to even the least intelligent person on the Hill that the American people were not in favor of this massive takeover of our medical system. The phones rang continuously and all of their mailboxes were full and still this Congress that is supposed to be the voice of the people turned their back on us and voted in a predictable fashion.

It all seemed a bit too contrived and without remorse on any of their part. This health care reform bill which started off with a whimper and became the most hotly debated piece of legislation to pass through the Congress in many years has turned our prestigious halls of legislation into a house of shame. Our Representatives voted on a bill that will bring in more debt, more government bureaucracy, more government control and give the IRS more power than ever before and still they voted yes! Not once did any of them bother to hear the voices of their constituents. Not once did they listen to the people. Nancy Pelosi and her partners in crime had their arms interlocked and looks of shear arrogance, as they walked into the House cowering in the presence of the protest going on in plain sight. The entire episode was a travesty.

This bill is scheduled to be signed into law tomorrow by a President obviously relieved at the passage of a bill and with it the salvation of his Presidency. He has heralded it as historic and indeed it is historic. For the first time in our nations history one of the most comprehensive takeovers of American free enterprise has occurred. Not with due process of law, but rather by blatant bribery, arm twisting, shady backroom deals, lies, deception and trickery. The American people are not stupid and the game was up a long time ago. We as a people no longer believed or trusted the government and all of the talk of health care reform became a contest of wills. The speeches and rallies that they staged and televised with smiling people yelling out his name and sad tales of no health insurance were exactly that; staged. The meeting with all of the doctors in the white lab coats was total insult to our intelligence, a grand photo op with all of the coats handed out just prior to the video taping.

This administration has broken the trust of the American people. People are angrier than ever before and yet they look down on us with utter contempt. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the ring leaders of this great con on the public smile and carry on as if nothing at all occurred. Now they have another item on their agenda. Damage control. In this case however it has nothing to do with putting a spin on the entire thing with slick press coverage to cover their tracks. No. Next on the agenda will almost certainly be, immigration reform or amnesty as it has been called. 6.5 million illegal immigrates in this country will be given access to the bill just passed. Most do not pay taxes but they will be given a slice of the pie. Why? To help ensure a solid democrat support base. Divvy out free health care to a majority of low income and middle class people who are struggling to make ends meet in this dire economy and around election time you will have a guaranteed vote. Simple math.

In this board game that Obama has been playing with the public a winning move has just been made; checkmate! Or so it may seem. This game has awakened a people that have long been asleep and were content to sit back and watch things happen without so much as a twitch. They are more than awake now. They are angry! There will be direct challenges to this bill, lawsuits are already being drawn up. Individual states are assessing the possibility of nullifying it before it even has time to take effect. This is not the end of this loathsome bill. You will be hearing about it for some time to come. Have they overstepped the rules of the game? Yes, but November is right around the corner and along with it the mid term elections. We will see how the members of congress react to this when the time comes. Jobs will be lost in the House and the Senate. Possibly a complete loss of the House for the Democrats. A political tsunami will occur as a result of this bill, but it was a risk that they were willing to take.

The American people are resilient and this game is not over by a long shot. Checkmate? This game has just started!

Obamacare and FDR’s New Deal. A New Addiction?

The dangers of drug abuse come in many forms. Overdose is foremost the worst thing that can happen with the use of any narcotic and is an inherent risk if you choose to subject yourself to mind or mood altering substances. There are many other risks involved such as the tendency to resort to crime to support your habit. Many crimes are for one reason or another closely associated with drug abuse for it seems that once you embark down that dark path, job loss becomes one of the first victims of the drug that you are abusing. Then you slowly pull away from all social life so as to keep others out of your euphoric world that you now occupy.

A disturbing aspect of the drug culture is how friendly the dealer becomes with you in an attempt to gain a new customer. Many times he will give you a free ride in order to introduce you to your new addiction. Then when you feel as though you are still in control of everything, he will pull the rug out from under your feet and now you are at his mercy. The cost keeps rising and is soon unattainable with your current income, but you like it so much that you are willing to do what may have been unthinkable in previous days. Then you are trapped in this unrelenting cycle of abuse that ultimately brings you to the point of ruin.

Ironically, government entitlements work in much the same manner as do drug dealers. They all seem to be euphoric at first glance. They may take a burden off of you that was making life difficult and relieve some of the pressure generated by economic problems at first, but they have a tendency to keep you from advancing or achieving due to the very simple fact that the checks keep coming and you may reach an inescapable conclusion that working isn’t as easy as drawing an entitlement. Problem solved. Or is it?

Inescapably the dark truth eventually shows itself; cost. Large scale entitlement programs are doomed from the start due almost entirely to the cost involved. Europe is a prime example. Denmark and Sweden’s current income tax rate is around 48% to 49%. This is not sustainable.

Although the merits of an all encompassing health care system is desirable for the good of the population, it is not practical due to the economics involved. This country’s health care system is indeed due for an over haul as there are many aspects of it that are in need of reform, but it is in fact the best in the world, with cutting edge technology that has presented itself, by the competition based economy that we have. It is however expensive.

Now the Obama Administration is offering us a New Deal on the heals of this recession that we currently face. FDR had a similar plan. Experts in economics disagree whether or not his New Deal shortened or lengthened the Great Depression. History hasn’t told us yet, but many agree that the onset of World War II is the reason that our beleaguered nation rose from despair. It reignited manufacturing in this country on a large scale and put us back to work.

Is the Obama Administration’s acquisition of the banking and manufacturing companies of our country and the tease of health care reform part of a New Deal? Is it based on FDR’s New Deal? Job loss reached 25% in the thirties and the Great Depression was headed for a double dip. Had World War II not come along when it did, we would have surely stayed in a depression for some time to come.

A lot of FDR’s New Deal entitlements are very similar to the Obama administrations agenda, starting with excessive spending as a way to bring us out of debt and his penchant for demonizing the banks. FDR simply closed the banks until his plan was put into action. Then taking us off of the gold standard and making it illegal to use it as a currency and setting the value of the dollar. This was a calculated risk. Did it work? The current practice of printing money when none is available to pay for entitlements is a result of this change which also creates inflation and devalues the dollar and has managed to saddle us with over $12.5 trillion dollars in debt which is dangling over our heads like the Sword of Damocles. One day that bill will come due for payment. One truly wonders at the wisdom of our leaders.

This health care reform bill or Obamacare, that is currently in the House of Representatives for final vote is but one more entitlement for the people of this country. It is unconstitutional and unsustainable in its scope. The Obama administration is willing to gamble as FDR did with his New Deal, that this will cure the ails of this nation. Like the drug dealer supplying free drugs to attract a new customer, the outcome is predictable and many are indeed euphoric at the possibility of free health care. If it passes, the public will eventually embrace Obamacare and then find that they cannot live without it. Thus the addiction begins and he is fully aware of this effect. Ultimately the cost will go spiraling out of control, with ruin facing us just around the corner.

Change

In just a few short days the direction that this great country travels in, may be changed forever. The will of the American people will be tested and history will decide who flinched first. As passage of the health care reform bill looms precariously just over the horizon and with it a new precedent may be established that could change our democracy as we know it.

If there are not enough votes in the house for final passage, Nancy Pelosi has stated that they may try another tactic and deem the bill passed. Violating not only the constitution of the United States but, also the rights of it’s citizens. Ultimately paving the way for more legislation that they may deem necessary for the good of the country. Frightening isn’t it? They are in essence re-writing the very document that has guaranteed our liberties and freedoms for over one hundred and twenty years.

Never before in the history of our government has so much been at stake, with the passage of a single bill. Still, the issue at hand is not as much the contents of the bill, rather the methods that have brought it to the center of attention.

President Obama came to the political arena under the guise of hope and change. The people of this country were at the time disillusioned with government and the wars in the middle east. He offered a change that some Americans were elated to see. He promised to bring the country back together and establish transparency in government that would help heal the wounds of a people that no longer trusted lawmakers. He promised to reduce the deficit, put people back to work and solve the problems with the economy. He painted a beautiful picture. What happened?

Had Obama been properly vetted we may never have had to ask this question. His use of Saul Alinsky tactics in Chicago would have certainly come up and that may have been the end of it right there. Americans have the unique ability to be misled at the behalf of a severely biased news media. They painted a portrait of a young politician that was almost too good to be true. Clearly he based his agenda squarely down the middle appealing to those on either side of the aisle. McCain and his party never had a chance.

Alinsky’s doctrine initiates change through crisis and in the first few weeks of the new administration, this country faced a crisis at every corner. Rahm Emanuel was quoted recently as saying; “never waste a good crisis.” Apparently this administration didn’t. Economic crisis, mortgage crisis, banking crisis, auto manufacturer’s crisis, one crisis after another. Law makers were urged to act now before it is too late! Chicken Little’s words echoed throughout the congress; “the sky is falling!” Trillions of American taxpayers hard earned dollars were shoved out the back door to open hands, with barely a glance at the check book that it was drawn out of. Driving this country into a debt that broke the bank. TARP was born.

Words from the master himself, Saul Alinsky and Rules for Radicals. “Men don’t like to step abruptly out of the security of familiar experience; they need a bridge to cross from their own experience to a new way. A revolutionary organizer must shake up the prevailing patterns of their lives–agitate, create disenchantment and discontent with the current values, to produce, if not a passion for change, at least a passive, affirmative, no-challenging climate.” President Obama learned well, he had a brilliant mentor.

We are now facing a crisis. A real crisis. A crisis in the most cherished of all places. Our democracy. The very constitution itself is being assaulted. The people of this great nation sit back and hold their breath as their freedoms become a bargaining chip for the grand prize. Health care reform.

Nancy Pelosi indicated that she “will pass this bill by any means necessary.” Does this mean at the expense of the constitution? Outrage is now out in the open. Anger, divisiveness and frustration at the apparent inability to stop this thing from becoming law are driving a wedge between the people. Change will come as a result of all of this. Alinsky was right. You need an inside agitator for change and we may have found one.

The Lemmings

Many years ago there was a wild life program on television that featured an odd little rodent with peculiar migration habits. They are very prolific creatures and at times their population seemingly explodes for one reason or another. Some of the film footage that was shown was unusual in that it depicted the creatures rushing along at a frantic pace following some instinct that has not been clearly defined. Of course the creatures are Lemmings. They are common in the Arctic Circle and range as far away as Norway

At some point their frenzied march came across a seemingly insurmountable obstacle. A cliff. However this did not deter them in their quest. They followed each other to their untimely demise one after another right over the edge. This is truly odd behavior. Some biologists called it mass suicide, while others say that the urge to march forward was so overwhelming, that it was just impossible for them to stop. What ever the reason they have gained their place in the animal kingdom as odd creatures for sure.

There are other creatures that parallel the little rodents and currently there are many of them that reside in Washington. They call themselves Congressmen. Our Congressmen. Lined up, one after another set to follow their leaders over the edge of that same insurmountable obstacle. Some will call it mass suicide. Political suicide but, none the less it is suicide. Their un-resistable urge? Health care reform. They must have it at all costs. Why? Change. Remember that word? It was thrown at us a year ago along with another word; hope. Hope and change but, what do they hope to change?

One sixth of this nations economy is up for grabs and in their desperate reach for the Holy Grail of the progressives, they are doing exactly what the Arctic Lemmings do on occasion. Following their leader over the cliff. The mid term elections are near and the result of passage of this bill, will bring upon them a devastating eviction from the offices that they currently occupy at the hands of the American voters, who have watched hope and change turn into the hopelessness of debt and government expansion on a scale unparalleled in the history of our nation.

All of the polls indicate an overwhelming majority of Americans are strongly opposed to this bill as it exists now or any of it for that matter but, our Congressmen are marching to the beat of a different drummer and have turned a deaf ear to the people that put them into their current positions. There have been marches on Washington, angry town hall meetings and Tea Party gatherings. Still, they march to the edge of the cliff. Drawn by some unseen power. What could that be?

Special deals, behind closed door agreements, arm twisting. Does the end justify the means? How did we get to this place that we are currently at? The offices in Congress used to stand for honor. The people of this great Republic were at one time, the voice of Washington. No longer is that the case. They are now our voice. They speak for us. Parliamentary procedure has been replaced by bribes and skulduggery. They have not even tried to conceal it from the public but, rather boast about it in front of us with full media coverage. The once great Halls of Congress have been reduced to the status of a corrupt house of ill repute.

The Lemmings are at the precipice and it seems that they are willing to drag this great country over the cliff with them. Currently our national debt tips the scales at an incredible $12.5 trillion dollars. This health care reform bill weighs in at an estimated $1.5 trillion. Our government has never successfully estimated a total cost on any bill that they have ever passed and yet they are confident of their projections and are trying to sell it to the public by any means necessary. With more Americans out of work now than at any recent time in our history, it seems illogical to try and pass such a large increase in spending and a complete take over of our medical system but, they press forward.

What will it take to prevent this catastrophe in the making? Who in Congress is listening? The Republicans have unilaterally drawn a line against this and yet they can not prevent it. If this bill does pass, we can only hope that the elections in November will bring in a wave of new conservative members with a backbone, willing to repeal this nasty piece of legislation before it destroys this country and put it to rest once and for all.

Ponzi Scam aka; Health Care Reform

Do you believe that this debate is even about reform?

It is a slick, packaged deal that has only one purpose. To destroy the foundation of this country. It is a Ponzi Scam. It goes by several names, but in the end, it is a scam in the form of a crisis. Remember Saul Alinsky? Change can only be made, in the shadow of a crisis. Well guess what. We are in a health care crisis. We were just in a mortgage crisis. A banking crisis. A H1N1 crisis. A climate change crisis. A auto manufacturing crisis. An economic crisis. This list of crisis’s is infinitesimal according to this administration. Rham Emanuel was quoted recently, “never waste a good crisis!” Where on earth do you think that he was coming from?

A correct analogy would be SNL’s skit from way back; Land Shark. Remember that? The knock at the door. The voice of the lady resident; Who is it? The answer from behind the door; candy gram! But I didn’t order any candy…(long pause)…pizza guy! But I didn’t order a pizza…(another long pause)…cable guy…Ohh yeah, I was having trouble with the cable, come on in! She opens the door and there in front of her is a guy in a shark costume who rushes in and eats her. She screams! Remember the white coats at the Doctors visit to the White House? I knew it was a fake even before the news hit the mainstream. Clearly a put on affair. A con.

What is even more incredulous is the fact that so many people actually buy into the notion that this debate is about health care reform. It is anything but. This administration could care less about your or my health or the ability to purchase insurance. Let alone how much you pay for it. This entire forum is about control.

What kind of control? For one; control of 1/6th of our economy. There is a tremendous amount of money and power up for grabs here. Do not be fooled. This administration wants it. They grabbed up the Banks, and the Auto Industry.

Secondly; taxes. If the single payer plan evolves and becomes law, you will be required to buy into it. The IRS will handle the collection of the money. It is nothing more than a hidden tax agenda. It will come out of our pocket. Somewhere around $3800.00 per person I believe. You do the math. Big savings…hunh? What a boon to bigger government! More of our money at their disposal. You know that they are very frugal with our money and wouldn’t put us further into debt, right?

The very constitutionality of this debate is precarious. A Government mandate requiring you to buy into this plan, clearly violates the 10th amendment to the US Constitution. “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. Plain and simple.

This administration has by-passed all of the parliamentary procedures to pass a bill that over 60% of the American people are opposed to. It will bankrupt us and is unsustainable. It takes away from the future of our country’s existence and will place so much debt on us, as be a National Security issue.

If any medical coverage will be available out of this, it will be similar to Medicaid. Which we already have. Medicare will be gutted to make room for the new plan, which as of now doesn’t even exist. This bill is ill conceived and dangerous to the American economy.

It is being forced through the house without a final vote. If our government can do this, how long will it be before we are it’s slaves?

Who Is In Charge?

The current political arena of the United States is abuzz with ideology’s from left, right, center and other areas, such as way left and way right. There is no end of political affiliations for the foreseeable future. The Tea Party is in the spotlight at the moment and it looks as if Conservatism is once again on the rise to the center of the political stage, even though it was pronounced DOA several years ago. Conservatism is truly the only way to make things work. Period. Regardless of any party affiliation.

An economy based on debt is unsustainable. End of story. Ahhhhh…but the story only gets better from here. Yes we are in debt. Up to our neck as far as I can tell. Once in the trillions of dollars, who is actually still counting? Apparently our government can spend as much as they deem necessary to accomplish their means. With all of the organized chaos in Washington, it begs me to ask a question. Who is really in charge?

The three branches of government, ostensibly; the Congress, Judicial and The Executive Office. Set up by our founding fathers, who in their wisdom, knew that power would eventually corrupt. They were right. It has. So who up there is in charge? Is it really the policies of Barrack Hussein Obama that are running the show? Is it the Congress?

If things go as they look like they are, we will see a reversal of voters, as they are now fed up with the current leadership. There will be a referendum against the policy makers that are seated in office. Will it make the least bit of difference? Really? Do you believe that by changing the people in the halls of Congress that you will turn this boat around? I believe that the problem is more deep rooted than just that.

Our Government has become a life entity of it’s own. A bulging at the seems, over stuffed and over bearing monster that has crept along and gotten so deeply embedded into our lives that there is no stopping it. We might slow the progress down somewhat. Can we really stop it? So again, I ask the question; who is really in charge? It seems to me that our lawmakers and executive branch and including the judicial branch are merely pawns in service of a hidden puppet master. Is it a single player? A power monger? A multi-national corporation? A foreign country trying to take over the entire world?

What with all of the conspiracy theories floating around such as; Pearl Harbor and FDR. Who was on the grassy knoll? The Gulf of Tonkin incident and now, the 911 conspiracy. Is what we have believed to be the truth for all of these years really the truth? What is the truth? Would you recognize it?

The world as we know it today, is currently at the most dangerous crossroads in our entire recorded history, of this dismal little planet we call Earth. More dangerous than the Roman Empire era, World War I or World War II era. Look at what all is happening around us at this exact moment in time.

The world is in economic decline.

Europe has united themselves into a Union and it appears that there is dissension in the ranks. Greece is on the verge of insolvency and is threatening to leave the Union. At great peril to their sovereignty it seems. The Union has threatened them, that they would not be allowed to just leave without punishment.

The radical Islamists are fast gaining ground in their world wide efforts of Holy Jihad and the free world is in their sights. All they need is access to a nuclear device and believe me, they will use it. Probably here.

Iran is on the verge of having nuclear weapons. Their recent accomplishment of putting a satellite into orbit, is but the first step towards having global nuclear power. It is relatively easy to put a warhead on top of a missile, that can put it into orbit and that challenge has already been met. The direction that they are headed in is very easy to see. A Muslim Nation with ICBM capabilities. Most notably; a rogue Muslim Nation.

World wide hunger is a factor that everybody seems to have forgotten about and the tyrannical dictators that are at the helm of those most impoverished nations. Look at the recent tragedy in Haiti. We have been sending billions of dollars to help prop up their country for many years now and it is still in no better shape than it was thirty years ago. Ethiopia, Somalia the list is getting longer day by day.

And then…there is China. Lurking, behind the scenes, like a tiger in the jungle, shadowing it’s prey. When will it pounce? It’s people are ready for a change. It has become one of the fastest growing economies on the planet. Industrialization has changed it’s very appearance and has created one of the largest Armies on the face of the Earth. It has cornered every market in its attempt to become the leading player in the world arena and it appears that no one is paying attention to their motives. They have bought up much of our debt and recently threatened to dump some of our bonds on the open market in an attempt to prevent an arms deal between the US and Taiwan. We blinked.

This happened once before in 1956 only, we pulled this very same trick on Britain, to stop them from escalating the Israeli-Egyptian war and Egypt’s attempt to nationalize the Suez Canal, which would have impacted England’s economy. We held their debt after WWII in which they were bankrupted and we threatened the very same thing to stop them. Which would have dragged us into the war, that was being backed by the Former Soviet Union.

Last but not least, the former Soviet Union is trying to regain it’s former glory. Vladamir Putin is fast setting himself up as Dictator. A former KGB agent who wants things back the way they were before the USSR broke apart.

The stage is set and the time is right for a power struggle. All of the indicators are there, no one is paying attention. We are at a moment in time very similar to the chain of events that dragged the world into WWII. The technology is greater now. Deadlier and more precise. Death and destruction now available at the push of a button. Only this time the stakes are higher. Millions can be killed by a single weapon.

Yes, we are at a crossroads. Unparalleled in our history. These are dangerous times and the future is uncertain. So, the question remains. Who is in charge? Is the New World Order at hand? Is the only way to end our world problems, to unite? To toss away our sovereignty? Who will be in power then?

I firmly believe that history will show, that the driving force behind all of these changes were in essence; our world banking institutions.
